February “CELEBRATE” Sermon Series
February 6, Celebrate Sermon Series, Week 1: “Celebrate the Future” Though we struggle with present difficulties and future unknowns, God has given us reasons to scout out and celebrate the future. These reasons and descriptions are found many places in Scripture, giving us hope and joy in what God has in store for us. There are a multitude of reasons to celebrate the future. Scriptures: Isaiah 65:17-25; 2 Timothy 4:7-8
February 13, Celebrate Sermon Series, Week 2: “Celebrate Love” Love is the major focus of the Christian faith: God’s love for us, our love for God, and our love for one another. The emphasis on love is found throughout Scripture with love not simply being a feeling, but action. There are a multitude of reasons to celebrate love. Scriptures: 1 Corinthians 13; 1 John 4:7-12
February 20, Celebrate Sermon Series, Week 3: “Celebrate Leadership” Leadership is an essential element of our life together, from our country’s leaders, to leadership in the church, and all the way to leadership in our personal lives. Leadership examples and qualities are found in Scripture that help direct us in the leadership we experience and are to provide. There are a multitude of reasons to celebrate leadership. Scriptures: 1 Timothy 3:1-13; Titus 1:6-9
February 27, Celebrate Sermon Series, Week 4: “Celebrate Transformation” The Transfiguration of Jesus sheds light on the transformation of our lives in our relationship with Him. We do not stay the same as we grow in the Christian faith and journey in this world living by the Spirit. We are to be transformed into the likeness of Christ. There are a multitude of reasons to celebrate transformation. Scriptures: Luke 9:28-36; Romans 12:1-2
