February 11 “He Gets Us” Sermon Series Week 6, “Graced with the Message Beyond Politics” In Jesus’ time, communities were deeply divided by bitter differences in religious beliefs, political positions, culture wars, and more. Like today, “stay on message” was the theme for any group. Beyond all the clamor, the core message of Christianity is the grace of Jesus Christ. In grace, Jesus gets us. Scriptures: Matthew 9:35-38; Ephesians 2:1-10.
