February 4 “He Gets Us” Sermon Series Week 5, “Who Is Invited to the Table?” Jesus spent time with a variety of people ranging from the religious to the outcasts. His inclusion was shocking to many around him. When asked why he said, “The reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me.” Inviting everyone to the table, Jesus gets us. Scriptures: Mark 2:13-17; Luke 19:1-10
