Making Room Advent Sermon Series
December 12, Making Room Series, Week 3: “Leave the Light On”, Light is a universal symbol of hospitality. The very night Jesus was born, an angel of the Lord stood before shepherds, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, announcing that the kingdom of God is making room for every person in the birth of the Savior. The light of Christ has been needed in every generation and God’s people are to shine forth with that light. Scriptures: Isaiah 9:1-2, 6-7; Matthew 5:14-16
