October 31 “Taming the Tongue” Sins of the tongue such as gossip and slander need to be taken seriously. We all have experienced the sting of the tongue at some point in our life, and know how it feels. To guard our mouth as the Psalmist says will help us in being doers of the word. Scriptures: Mark 8:27-38; James 3:1-12
