May 31 “Let’s Get Fired Up!” On the Day of Pentecost, “tongues as of fire” rested on the disciples and they were filled with the Holy Spirit. Being filled with the Holy Spirit they were “fired up” and emboldened in their witness for Christ. The Holy Spirit brings to us the same power to get us “fired up” in our witness for Christ today.
