God’s Will and My Dreams

King David was anointed to rule in Israel and follow God’s will to shepherd His people.  However, at times David failed to live up to God’s dream for him.  Jesus, the Good Shepherd, fulfills God’s dream perfectly.  Today, our desire can be to have our dreams aligned with God’s dreams and to rely on God for the ability to live up to His dreams for us as Jesus did.  Our prayer and dream is, “Thy will be done.”
