In our many crossroads in life, Christ and His cross can lead us to decide the path of God’s will for us. Jesus enters Jerusalem for the last time amid palm branches and praises, knowing the suffering that awaits him there, yet he does not turn back. We come to see as well that though we know suffering is part of being a follower of Christ, we must carry on for him. Hearing from Simon the Zealot in his witness can help us approach the crossroads of suffering with courage and strength.
