April 9, Lenten series “Amazing Grace” Easter Sunday: “Grace for those Who Lament” We lament the fact that there is so much darkness in our world. Coming to the tomb of Jesus, Mary Magdalene mourned, not expecting to be moved beyond that dark lament. With the resurrection, tears of lament give way to tears of inexpressible joy. Even in our laments, through the risen Christ God’s amazing grace is granted to us. Scriptures: John 20:1-10; John 20:11-18. Kirk Peterson preaching.
