“Titus: Displaying the Gospel of Grace” Sermon Series
September 14 “Titus: Displaying the Gospel of Grace” series: “Entrusting the Gospel” Paul spoke of “the truth that leads to godliness” and his being entrusted with something that reveals God’s promise of eternal life. This something is the gospel of Jesus Christ, the good news that Jesus saves sinners like us. Entrusted with the gospel, it is displayed in us. Scriptures: Titus 1:1-4; Titus 3:3-7. September 21 “Titus: Displaying the Gospel of Grace” series: “Holding to the Gospel” Paul had the responsibility to pass on the gospel message. In doing so, he was concerned about the character and role of those who would be leading in the same. “Good disciples make good disciples.” Holding to the gospel, it is displayed in us. Scriptures: 1 Peter 5:1-6; Titus 1:5-9.
September 28 “Titus: Displaying the Gospel of Grace” series: “Guarding the Gospel” Paul was zealous to protect those in the church. He saw the deadly danger of false teachers. He wanted those knowing the gospel, believing the gospel, teaching the gospel, and living the gospel since there is great damage done when Christians have a big gap between their profession of faith and the way they live their lives. Guarding the gospel, it is displayed in us. Scriptures: Matthew 7:15-20; Titus 1:10-16.
