April 13 (Palm Sunday) Lent series “Savior, Servant, Friend”, “Jesus Is King” While people lined the street to welcome Jesus as the one to save them from oppression, Jesus looked to the cross. Jesus entered Jerusalem as our king, ready to overthrow sin, death, and the devil. Jesus is Savior, Servant, Friend, and King. Scriptures: Luke 19:28-40; John 18:33-38.
