Life Before Death: Pursue Togetherness

The audio from today’s sermon has been posted – HERE.
Thanks to everyone who was able to join us live this morning, and our apologies to everyone who had difficulties joining us.
We appreciate everyone’s patience and prayers as we try to bring Trinity together.

Considering all the recent information, urgings and actions from a variety of sources regarding the Corona virus epidemic, the heart-wrenching decision has been made to cancel worship and activities for this Sunday and most likely up to two weeks.

This Sunday we continue in our Lenten series “Life Before Death.”  Pastor Kirk will bring the message, “Pursuing Togetherness.”  Please read Matthew 10:1-7 and Acts 1:12-14. The message will be shown here at 10:00 a.m.

Jesus Sends Out the Twelve
Jesus called his twelve disciples to him and gave them authority to drive out impure spirits and to heal every disease and sickness.
These are the names of the twelve apostles: first, Simon (who is called Peter) and his brother Andrew; James son of Zebedee, and his brother John; Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus; Simon the Zealot and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him.
These twelve Jesus sent out with the following instructions: “Do not go among the Gentiles or enter any town of the Samaritans. Go rather to the lost sheep of Israel. As you go, proclaim this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven has come near.’

Matthew 10:1-7 New International Version (NIV)

Matthias Chosen to Replace Judas
Then the apostles returned to Jerusalem from the hill called the Mount of Olives, a Sabbath day’s walk[a] from the city. When they arrived, they went upstairs to the room where they were staying. Those present were Peter, John, James and Andrew; Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew; James son of Alphaeus and Simon the Zealot, and Judas son of James. They all joined together constantly in prayer, along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.

Acts 1:12-14 New International Version (NIV)
