Lenten Sermon Series

March 1 Second Sunday in Lent “Dying to Greed, Living for the Treasures of Heaven” Greed is a foolish obstacle to our relationship with God. The world tempts us to pursue earthly treasure while Scripture instructs us to set our affection on things above, not on things on the earth. We are to die to greed and live for the treasures of heaven. Scriptures: Matthew 6:19-24; Luke 12:13-21.
