“Who Is…” Series:
November 2 “Who Is a Saint?” In his letters, Paul applies the term “saint” to Christians faithfully living for Christ. The life of a saint displays the characteristics of Christ. Faithful deceased Christians are considered saints as well. Christians are saints. Scriptures: Philippians 1:1-11; Colossians 1:1-14.
November 9 “Who Is Serving?” Jesus stated that He came to serve, not to be served. He set the example of service for His followers. To follow Jesus means to serve God and one another. Christians are serving. Scriptures: Galatians 5:13-14; John 12:20-26.
November 16 “Who Is a Steward?” A steward is defined as one who manages another’s property or financial affairs; one who administers anything as the agent of another. God has entrusted His people with stewardship responsibilities for what is His and what He has given. Christians are stewards. Scriptures: Matthew 25:14-23; Luke 16:10-13.
