February 9 “Love the Sinner, Hate the Sin” Jesus taught us to love our neighbor and love our enemies. The danger in “loving the sinner” is falling into a prideful judgment of others. The danger in “hate the sin” is falling into hypocrisy when “convicting” others. We can believe God desires for us to love one another, and for us to lay aside our own sin while demonstrating humility and grace toward others.
