Pride hampers our relationship with God, hinders our relationships with others, and harms our relationship with our self. God resists the proud because the proud resist God. God gives grace to those who come to Him in humility and acknowledge their need before Him. God’s grace granted to those who humble themselves is among the promises of God upon which we can build our life and have an unshakable hope.
